THE BRUSSELS HILL CLIMB CHALLENGE: IT'S A WRAP!
More than 100 participants braved the wind and the occasional rain to conquer the brutal Beukenberg and its 11% gradient.
- Well done to Goerick Daeninck (Brussels cycling team) for his blistering 20.51s time on the climb!
- Niki Buggenhout (Brussels Triathlon Club) won the race in the female category.
- The General Classification of BHCC goes to Dilara Tuna in the female category.
- And well done to Virgile Loiseau (Brussels Big Brackets) for winning the BHCC overall classification for the second year running!

Zondag is in Vorst de finale van de Brussels Hill Climbing Challenge afgewerkt. Het concept is even simpel als geniaal: om ter snelst met een fiets een steile berg oprijden. Fietsclub Brussels Big Brackets zit achter het initiatief, en hoopt zo het wielrennen in onze stad te promoten. In totaal deden waagden zo’n 130 deelnemers zich aan de Beukenberg in Vorst.

Les participants sont venus nombreux à Forest pour le Brussels Hill Climb Challenge.
Initialement prévue à la rue mystère à Forest, la finale de la Brussels Hill Climb Challenge a été déplacée quelques rues plus loin au Beukenberg. Même déplacée, les 200 mètres de course ont fait mal aux jambes. Cette compétition, soutenue par la Fédération Cycliste Wallonie-Bruxelles, est l’une des rares courses dans la région bruxelloise. Les participants bruxellois étaient évidemment heureux de pouvoir disputer une épreuve chez eux.
