BRUSSELS CYCLING PROJECT 2030
A shared ambition for Brussels Big Brackets and Brussels Cycling Club: merging to develope and promote cycling in Brussels, by bringing two iconic cycling clubs together.
GIVING BRUSSELS THE PLACE IT DESERVES ON THE CYCLING SCENE...
… by establishing a project that creates a clear pathway to Elite 2/U23 level, enabling young Brussels riders to fulfil their full potential and progress to higher-level teams
… and by fostering a culture of recreational racing through support for member participation in Elite 3, Gran Fondos, gravel events and CX-competitions.
RACING OR JUST RIDING?
We race in a large range of events, including:
- Elite 2
 - Elite 3
 - Masters road races
 - Cyclocross
 - Gravel
 - Gran fondo

But you don’t have to race to enjoy our weekly group rides, organized for riders who simply love to get out on their bikes and ride together. Whether you’re training for your next race or just looking for a fun and supportive cycling community, there’s a place for you here!
GROUP RIDES
There are plenty of weekly group rides to choose from ! From the infamous “Turbo Tuesday” ride, to the perfect social “Wednesday Thon Steady” ride,
or the longer weekend rides!
Many of our recreational riders love the challenge of riding alongside our elite racers on group rides. It’s a great opportunity to push your limits while enjoying the camaraderie of the club.
In return, our elite riders are always happy to offer tips, support, and encouragement — whether it’s helping out on Gran Fondo rides or just joining in the fun on our weekly group rides.
RACE SUPPORT
We also encourage our members to support the club by volunteering at races. Whether it’s handing out bottles on the side of the course or helping out in other capacities, this support is vital for the club.
Not only does it contribute to the success of our elite racers, but it’s also an incredible experience to witness a (quasi-) professional race from the inside, rather than just watching it on TV.
It’s a unique way to be part of the action and see firsthand what goes into making a race day run smoothly.
FAQ - ABOUT BRUSSELS CYCLING PROJECT 2030
You can join with a competition or with a recreational licence.
To join, check out our page dedicated to membership.
If you want to join with a recreational licence you will be able to participate in trainings organised by the Racing section but you will not have the required paperwork to participate in races (some races do allow for a one-day license).
We ask all riders participating in high intensity trainings and races to do a cardio-respiratory checkup on a yearly basis.
